School Year Dates

About School Year Dates

School Year Dates collects school district calendars in one place: the first and last day of school, breaks, holidays, teacher workdays and early-release days. It is meant for the question parents ask most often in summer and again before every holiday: when is the next day off?

Why it exists

Every district publishes its calendar, usually as a PDF or a page buried in the district site, and the formats are all different. Many websites that collect them do not say where a date came from or when it was last checked. On every page here, the dates link to the district's own calendar and show the day we last read it, so you can judge for yourself and open the original.

Independent

We are an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any school district, state education agency or the federal government, and districts do not pay to be listed. District names appear only to identify the calendar. We never use district logos, seals or mascots, and we never change a date for anyone except to match the district's own published calendar.

How it is paid for

The site shows ads from Google AdSense. Ads never change what a calendar says, and there are no paid placements or affiliate links.

Who runs it

School Year Dates is published by AUSSIE-AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17193460). Questions and corrections go through the contact page or to hello@schoolyeardates.com.

Using a district page

Start with the district name and school year, then check the date beside the source link. The first and last days describe the student calendar we found. The month grids also mark listed breaks, holidays, teacher workdays and early-release dates, so a weekday cell does not by itself promise that every school is open. Follow the district link for grade-specific arrangements, weather changes, school-level exceptions and other details that a district-wide calendar cannot settle.

You can print the calendar or download its events to a calendar app. A download is a snapshot of the dates shown when it was generated; it is not a subscription that automatically receives later changes. Return to the district page and check the source again before making arrangements that depend on a date.
